3rd party password managers and autofill services on the Ecosia Android app
This feature is available in the Ecosia Android App, versions 143 and above.
Using the password manager integration
With version 143 of the Ecosia Android app, we are adding a feature to use your favorite password manager to automatically fill forms or login while you browse the web.
How to enable the feature
- Go to Settings
- Tap on autofill services
- From there you can tap on “Autofill using another service”.
- Select your preferred
- Restart the app
By following these steps you will be able to choose the password manager you have set up in your device. You can always change it from the Android settings or following the link in the Ecosia Settings in the app (see pictures above).
Which password managers are supported?
All major password managers like Bitwarden, 1Password or the Google Password Manager are supported. Please let us know if you find yours is missing and we will look into it.
