How to troubleshoot account verification failures
Having trouble verifying your account? Whether you didn’t receive the email or the verification link didn’t work, here’s how to get sorted quickly.
Many factors can block the flow, and most are beyond our control. Once the email is delivered, the rest is up to your email provider, browser, or device settings. Here's what you can do:
1. Didn’t get the email?
- Look in your spam, junk, or promotions folders.
- Sign in with the email address you used to register. You’ll see a “Resend verification email” button, click that and wait a few minutes.
- Ensure pop‑up blockers, script blockers, or browser extensions are turned off—they can interfere.
- Double-check your email spelling—typos happen.
- If still no success, try signing up with a different email provider (e.g. Gmail vs. Outlook).
2. The link didn’t work?
- Only the most recent verification link is valid, old ones expire quickly.
- Some email clients break long URLs. Try copy‑pasting the full link into your browser.
- Switch to a different browser or device, some setups prevent link redirects from working.
- Again, disable any browser extensions or strict privacy settings that might block the flow.
